Does UPS Hire Felons?

You wanted to know, does UPS hire felons?

Everyday we get tons of inquiries with the subject in the email. does UPS hire felons? Well instead of responding to all of our loyal fans one by one we have decided that we need to write a post about this topic.

UPS has hired felons recently. Around 6 months ago was the most recent time someone has sent us in a story about being hired at UPS. This is their story.

“Well I ended up applying for a UPS position over the internet. I have a grand theft felony so I thought this would hurt me, but it did not. I was given a very labor intensive position. This part time position was what I needed and after a year I will have full time benefits. The environment is great and is very conducive to personal growth. They know all about my felony so this will never be an issue in the future. I am pretty happy about all of this. I hope this helps someone.”

In the past we have also received a few other accounts of felons who have been hired at UPS. So the answer your question “does UPS hire felons” is yes. It is true that UPS does hire felons.

I also applied as a independent driver at UPS Freight and was told after completing the 6 hrs orientation test online and passing my drug screen that they could not hire be because of a non violent felony convection from over 30 years ago. They even sent be the contract agreement to sign but called at the last minute and told me that I could not be hired. I passed up a really good job offer because they had said that every thing was fine.

I just filled out an app for usp and they turned me down to my background. I am a convicted felon and UPS would not hire me due to my background, because I have 2 Armed Robbery charges from 2011 and I was also upfront that I have a background and I am also in a halfway house. But a few days ago I got a letter in the mail saying I can go up for an dispute based off of my background, but I am not to sure on what I should do because its like everybody turns me down based off of my background but I was able to land a job at Macys, its not the best but its a job for the time being.

I have a felony from 2000, i just put it down but i think it’s considered a violent one due to breaking a restraining order and such. Of course I broke it by writing a letter but nerveless broke it, there is nothing else on my record from 2000 to 2015 so im hoping hoping ups hires me

I have two separate robbery convictions, strong-armed robbery in 2005(SC), and common law robbery 2012(NC). I interviewed 11 days ago and was upfront and honest with the HR lady about my past and they just called yesterday and offered me a job. She said they evaluate felony convictions on a case by case basis.

Well I thought I got hired worked for 2 weeks and then was notified I didn’t pass background check I was up front about my history I have an accessory charge that is 3 years old and took a deal earlier this year for 2 felony counts of child endangerment to top it off they haven’t paid me for the 2 weeks I did work.
